The Security Event is delighted to partner with WorldSkills UK to bring a fully immersive and interactive zone dedicated to the security engineers of tomorrow. Hosting the National Qualifiers onsite, this will raise the standard for apprentices to excel in their careers.

WORLDSKILLS UK - NATIONAL QUALIFIER
The qualifier stage of this competition is designed to reflect the role of an installation engineer within the Fire & Security industry, aligning with the standards expected in the field. Competitors will be tested on their working knowledge of system standards, as well as their ability to identify and resolve common engineering challenges.
3 heats, 3 days, 6 hours per heat.
Each competitor will take over a partially installed Conventional Fire Alarm and Intrusion Detection system, where they will demonstrate their ability to plan and organise tasks, report and document existing non-compliance, and work to a system design proposal to complete the installation and carry out system commissioning in-line with best practices and industry standards.
Competition registration opens: 3rd March 9:00am.
Competitors made aware they are successful: Tuesday 18th March - communication to include Qualifier specifications and drawings.
