Zahur Khan is the Director of Public Realm at Lewisham Council, bringing more than 30 years of local government leadership mainly across London. He has led major services spanning highways, transport, parking, waste, regeneration, and environmental operations, parks and bereavement services, with previous senior roles at the City of London Corporation, Islington Council, and Nottingham City Council. Zahur was also a previous Director of the Catford Regeneration Partnership Ltd, supporting one of London’s most significant urban renewal programmes.
