Yolanda is a Senior Security Leadership professional with 15 years’ experience in management roles both across Physical and Cyber Security Disciplines, all underpinned by 7 years in the Police Force with five of those in a Detective role.

Yolanda sits on the Advisory Board on IFPO and chairs the ED&I subcommittee, along with full participation on the Mental Health and Wellbeing group. She is an ASIS Member and sits on the ASIS International Physical Steering Committee and finds ways to connect with other women security professionals around the world in small projects.

Passionate about Mental Health Yolanda is now a Mental Health First Aider and advocates for good mental health and wellbeing in all roles. Both in and out of work.

Yolanda is passionate about amplifying the voices of the marginalised in our communities and is also an LGBTQ+ Ally and promotes evolving allyship. ‘What we know now isn’t necessarily what we need to know tomorrow’ Yolanda says, ‘I have real vision and passion for quite simply making things better every day, and communication in all things is critical in achieving a better output’.

Yolanda started the Security Circle Podcasts in January 2023 for IFPO to find more ways of connecting business giants to the front line in Security. The podcast attracted multiple sponsorship in its launch week and is now proud to be monetised with sponsors sponsoring weekly episodes. Yolanda wants to interview Steven Bartlett, as he is an inspirational role model.
