Championing women in the Information Security industry matter to me because from my observation women are underrepresented in the Information/Cyber Security field. Having navigated the field, I understand the barriers and the value of visible role models, fair opportunities, and supportive networks. Using a forum like this as voice and channel to advocate for women will help to create more resilient, innovative, and inclusive Information/Cyber security industry which will make it better than it is today.
