Ruari completed 25 years as a police officer in the Metropolitan Police. He spent a number of years involved in the delivery of crime prevention and anti-social behaviour measures across London, including close collaboration with the Oil Industry in tackling forecourt related crime, as well as serving as a Design Out Crime Officer covering the London Borough of Redbridge.
