Peter Mason, M.Ed

CTSP

Peter holds a Masters degree in Education. He worked initially for Racal Milgo, providing training courses across the whole spectrum of data communications. He moved to Racal Training Services in 1982, where as Group Director of Training he took the responsibility for training standards across the whole of the Racal Group.

He spent a number of years working in the Middle East on an education and training project for the Government of Dubai, on completion of which he returned to the UK in 1996. He now works as an independent technical trainer and consultant, spending the majority of his time working with Tavcom Training. He acted as an educational consultant to BT in the design and development of an extensive suite of e-learning programmes for the roll-out of the 21CN project.

His courses have been designed, developed and delivered to over 1,000 UK and overseas-based clients. The courses themselves range from a basic-level introduction, through to more in-depth study of the topics.

The emergence of IP protocols as an almost ‘de-facto’ standard for networks has led to the design and development of numerous courses, both classroom and distance learning-based covering TCP/IP, in-depth courses on IPv4, Cybercrime topics and both training courses and educational seminars on the emerging use and applications of IPv6.
