Katey Martin
Katey has served for 30 years in law enforcement. A founding member of the UK Counter Terrorism Negotiation Team, she served as national lead for counter terrorism negotiation training, delivering globally on behalf of the UK Government and at Coronial request. A specialist hostage, crisis and kidnap negotiator, she has worked extensively with large corporates to bring her skills to the open market.
As the former UK representative in Europe, Katey co-authored the EU’s official guidance on counter terrorism negotiation that helped shape negotiation training worldwide, supporting national and international security. Katey is a workplace Mediator and a qualified Suicide First Aid® tutor for the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training (NCSPET).
