Auditor, National Security Inspectorate (NSI)
Clare Crump is an auditor for the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) with over 10 years’ experience in the security industry, specialising in the guarding sector.  Clare joined NSI in 2011 and her auditing responsibilities include assessing companies’ competence in guarding, CCTV monitoring, keyholding, alarm response and lone worker services.
Clare uses international and British standards, the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme, ISO 18001 and 14001 Health and Safety and Environmental Management schemes and the Surveillance Camera Commissioner Scheme, as assessment criteria.  Her experience with the Surveillance Camera Commissioner Scheme dates back to the pilot stage when organisations participated in the development of the scheme.  
Clare has a good understanding of BS 7858:2019, the Standard for Security Screening, having sat on the BSI committee responsible for developing the current edition.  With a broad portfolio, Clare conducts desk top and full certification audits for private and public sector organisations across the UK.
