The Batrea Lithium-ion Safe
With the rise of lithium-ion technology, the need for reliable storage solutions is also growing. That's why we proudly introduce the Batrea: an advanced lithium-ion safe, specially developed for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries.

Lithium-ion batteries are powerful and sustainable energy sources, but they also pose significant risks. If damaged or overheated, these batteries can ignite due to a process known as thermal runaway, which can lead to explosions or a dangerous fire. This makes it essential to store lithium-ion batteries safely.

Safety First: VDMA 24994 Certification
The Batrea has been tested and certified according to the VDMA 24994 standard, a European directive that defines the safety requirements for the storage of lithium-ion batteries. The safe can withstand the intense heat and explosions that can occur in the event of a battery fire. Thanks to its robust construction, both flames and explosions remain contained within the safe, ensuring the safety of the surrounding area. Depending on the model, the Batrea offers 30 minutes (I/O30) or 60 minutes (I/O60) of fire protection, both internally and externally.

Innovative features for optimal control
The Batrea offers not only security but also advanced monitoring capabilities. The control panel on the outside of the safe allows you to manage alarms and receive timely warnings of potential hazards. The built-in ventilation system ensures safe temperature regulation and air circulation of 30 m³ per hour, minimizing the risk of overheating. Furthermore, the safe can be remotely monitored via an app for status updates such as power consumption, temperature, and smoke development.

Charging capacity and temperature control
The Batrea supports charging lithium-ion batteries with a maximum charging capacity of 3 kWh per level. When the internal temperature reaches 50°C, the safe automatically reduces the power supply to prevent overheating. At 60°C, the safe automatically switches off the charging process, providing additional protection.
