Acquisition of Rapier Precision Sheet Metal

On 1 April 2025, IDL completed the acquisition of Rapier Precision Sheet Metal, the company that has supplied architectural stainless-steel components for Fastlane products since the 1990s.

With facilities adjacent to our own manufacturing facility, this proximity has enabled fast communication, close collaboration and quicker resolution of design changes between teams for decades.

Looking ahead, bringing Rapier fully into the IDL group:

• Will improve coordination between design and production
• Will further develop skill and expertise
• Will minimise supply chain risks
