NSI Returns as Event Partner of The Security Event

NSI Stand: 5/F140

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI), the leading independent certification body for security and fire safety providers in the UK is thrilled to announce its return as an official Event Partner at The Security Event taking place on 30th April to 2nd May at the NEC in Birmingham. As a long term supporter, NSI is eagerly anticipating reconnecting with NSI approved companies, industry colleagues and those seeking the advantages of NSI certification. Visitors are invited to join the NSI team on stand 5/F140 to explore the many benefits of NSI certification.

The Security Event is set to attract over 14,000 visitors, showcase over 350 exhibitors and will host an extensive seminar programme, offering visitors valuable industry insights and technological advancements.

On Tuesday 30th April at 3pm, NSI will host an exclusive networking drinks reception for NSI approved companies at stand 5/F140 and on Wednesday 1st May will lead two engaging sessions in the Security Leaders Summit:

‘Insights into common findings and good practices raised on audits – awareness for buyers and suppliers’

Presented by: Clare Rogers, NSI Senior Operations Manager (Services)

Time: Wednesday 1st May at 13:30

This session will spotlight common non-conformances and best practices identified during audits within the security services sectors, offering valuable insights to those providing personnel security.  Clare will discuss some of the reasons and how these can be prevented from occurring in organisations.

‘Cyber Preparedness and the new national Cyber regulation for security systems: What Does This Mean?’

Presented by: Matthew Holliday, Director of Technical Services & Field Operations

Time: Wednesday 1st May at 16:00

Matthew will discuss the impact of cyber security on the security and fire sectors, addressing the responsibilities of installing and maintaining organisations, as well as product considerations and customer touchpoints.

Adding to the excitement, NSI's beloved owl mascot 'Cash,' immortalised in the prestigious Gold and Silver medals crafted by the Royal Mint, will be on-stand to welcome visitors and participate in selfies.

NSI CEO Richard Fogelman commented: “The Security Event is a cornerstone gathering for security and fire safety organisations of all sizes, established or newly formed and as a long term supporter we are delighted to return as an Event Partner.

“Visitors to the NSI stand will receive a warm welcome where our team will be on hand to discuss the range of benefits companies gain from choosing NSI as their certification body and to provide guidance on the certification process, schemes and Standards. I would also encourage those in the security services and installer communities to listen to Clare and Matthew’s sessions in the Security Leaders Summit on 1st May – they won’t disappoint.  We look forward to welcoming and reconnecting with both old and new industry colleagues.”
