Complete Cyber Selected for HS2 Innovation Accelerator Programme
The programme focused on developing innovative technologies around asset management, site productivity and future-proofing rail operations. One of its key challenges was how to detect cybersecurity vulnerabilities and safeguard critical rail systems, including signalling, telecommunications and control systems, from cyber threats.
As part of the programme, Complete Cyber was selected to further develop the technology now known as Cygard Edge, our OT-focused cybersecurity platform.
Cygard Edge was developed to support stronger cybersecurity across operational and critical infrastructure environments. Within the HS2 Innovation Accelerator, the focus was on strengthening the security of the digital signalling technology that will operate HS2 and is also being introduced across the wider conventional rail network.
The Accelerator brought together six SMEs for a 20-week programme working alongside HS2 and industry partners to refine their solutions and explore how emerging technologies could support a safer, more reliable and resilient railway.
Being selected for the programme marked an important milestone for Complete Cyber and Cygard Edge, providing an opportunity to apply our OT cybersecurity expertise to one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes.
