Active Infrared beams
IR Beam sensors offer point-to-point outdoor intrusion detection by utilising two separate devices, a transmitter and a receiver, positioned directly opposite each other. The transmitter consistently emits light towards the receiver. When an object interrupts the detection beam, the receiver promptly switches, triggering an alarm.
