Established in 2017, the Police Crime Prevention Academy delivers accredited qualifications in the field of Problem Solving, Crime Prevention and Designing Out Crime.

This will be extended during 2019 to include qualifications for people working at large corporations and visitor attractions.

All our qualifications are open to all people engaged in Security, Policing, and community engagement, who work towards and contribute to supporting safer communities.

The Academy is an Approved Centre for the Awarding Body ProQual, and our qualifications are regulated by Ofqual. Accredited qualifications represent an investment in staff by employers, and they are portable in the workplace, which means that the post holder can use their qualification even if they change roles, employer or careers.
